You can help change the lives of Moms with young children

There is a direct correlation between a mother’s emotional health and the psychological development of her children.

Yet many mothers suffer feelings of isolation and lack of social and emotional support. Studies show parents who lack a sense of self-confidence to manage family demands are more prone to stress and depression.

At MomCare Network, a Chisholm Trail Communities Foundation organization, our mission is to provide education and emotional support to mothers in Williamson County.

We do this by offering conferences called A Day for Moms. Mothers receive inspiration and instruction from experts in the fields of mental and emotional health, have access to representatives from local service agencies and enjoy camaraderie with other moms.

Our next conference is September 23, 2017.  We could use your help as a volunteer now and up to the day of the conference.

We’re holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 18th, at the Georgetown Public Library. We will meet at 3:00pm to 4:15pm in room 211.

Snacks will be served.

Please use the form below to register for the informational meeting or to request a follow-up call.
